Dr. Conner provides psychotherapy and psychiatric medication management for adults with a variety of conditions as well as consultation to the medical community. His particular interests are in psychodynamic psychotherapy, taking a look at a person's internal world to see how best to adapt to face the challenges of the outer one.  He has experience treating members of the Duke and Durham communities with medicine, talk therapy, and combinations of the two, with areas of specialized study including college mental health, women's health, and substance abuse recovery.  He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the North Carolina Psychiatric Association, and the Association of Gay and Lesbian Psychiatrists.
